Spine Med Patient Information
In conjuction with SpineMed, HCRC is providing spinal decompression services. The SpineMED table provides spinal decompression using concepts similar to traditional traction commonly used in physiotherapy clinics. The decompression table is designed to apply a gentle distraction tension to the spinal segment that is damaged, without causing a reflex contraction of the muscles in the area. This computerized electronic system has a feedback loop system which monitors and changes the tension being applied to a patient every 2.5 milliseconds. This tension applied to the exact disc, create a negative pressure, which helps to reduce the disc bulge and accelerate healing.
You may be appropriate for this service if you have the following:
- Disc bulge
- Disc herniation
- Degenerative disc disease
- Sciatica caused from a disc injury.
- Failed low back surgery & no hardware.
